*TRAFFIC ALERT* Painting I-695 Bridges Over Morse Lane, railroad in Eastern Baltimore Cnty
(September 24, 2026) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will paint the I-695 (Baltimore Beltway/Patapsco Freeway) inner and outer loop bridges over Morse Lane and the Norfolk Southern railroad line in eastern Baltimore County on three weekends beginning Saturday, September 26 between 7 a.m-7 p.m. The work will continue on Saturday, October 3 and October 10, weather permitting.
Crews will work on the three Saturdays, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. During work hours, there will be single left lane closures in effect on I-695 inner and outer loops at Morse Lane and the railroad line which are north of the MD 151 (North Point Boulevard) interchange. There will be no lane closures required on Morse Lane.
In case of inclement weather, bridge painting work will continue next the possible Saturday. The State Highway Administration’s contractor for the work is Reglas Painting, Inc. of Dundalk.
